Ananas (pronounced as pineapple) is my operating system. It consists of a kernel, assorted builds scripts, a standard C library (which is based on the Public Domain C Library, PDCLib) and assorted utilities and libraries such as a a runtime linker for dynamic executables. Ananas has a clear goal: technology-wise to be the easiest-to-understand operating system in existance, and license-wise to be the most free operating system imaginable.

The Ananas kernel, loader, assorted utilities and scripts are all licensed using the beer-ware license. The license text was inspired by Poul-Henning Kamp:

"THE BEER-WARE LICENSE" (Revision 42): Rink Springer <mail@rink.nu> wrote
this file. As long as you retain this notice you can do whatever you want
with this stuff. If we meet some day, and you think this stuff is worth it,
you can buy me a beer in return Rink Springer
The reason is that Ananas has taught me many wonderful things about operating systems, how everything works together and I think this knowledge should be shared. Thus, look at it, study it, enjoy it, use it: benefit from it!
